This poem is written in the present tense. Haiku take something from nature and make it extraordinary. In this poem, simile and metaphor cannot be used. It must be simple and capitalization is not mandatory in this poem. There is no punctuation required, it must feel open and unfinished.

The association helps to create a powerful haiku poem. A poet can place two concepts next to each other. Though, the association is not mandatory. A poet can simply create a “slice of life”. But they need to make it interesting. Everything is not interesting for all. Every reader has a different taste so a poet must write interesting phrases so that every reader likes it. They may not follow the five-seven-five pattern but every haiku poem must be simple. A poet is the first and last essential audience.  

Every poet does not write Haiku poems. This is not easy to write. But with patience and practice, a poet can learn how to create this poem. They may follow this pattern or not, but haiku must be beautiful.
