Narrative writings are considered by the students to be most interesting ones owing to the fact that it can be related to conversation to which one is habituated. A good narrative writing is expected to include characters which are compelling and attracts people’s attention and can appeal to the reader’s emotion. This decides the setting and the plot of the story as the narration should feel disconnected. Readers should be able to identify the character in line with the setting. A narrative writing also can be categorized into various genres for it can be a real life experience and the narration of the memory or the experience one has retained.it can be purely an observational one where the person describes an event or an accident as the second person who has witnessed the action unfolding in front of their eyes. Narrative writings are not limited to prose writing, there are narrative poetries as well. There are different ways in which poetries take the form to narrate an experience which describes a personal experience or is a narration of a memory. A poem about a personal experience or an adventure will require the prompt of the student’s knowledge of a superhero characteristics which are expected from the readers. A narrative writing prompt should include the different ways in which the resources expected form the instructor or the readers are noted down. For example, when writing about an experience of witnessing an accident one has to make sure that they clarify their involvement in the story. One can even go onto to explain the impact the experience had on you and how it changed the way you look at a certain thing.
